HOW LASER HAIR REDUCTION WORKS
When high-energy, long-pulse laser light is absorbed by pigment, it affects hairs in hair follicles. Laser energy is converted to heat within individual hairs. This heat causes damage to the hair follicle while causing no harm to the surrounding tissues. Our laser hair removal devices have a cooling system that protects the skin from further damage or discomfort.
TREATMENT
Hair grows in spurts. Laser hair removal works by vaporising the hairs in the follicles during treatment. This means that hairs in the inactive phase of the growth cycle are not treated all at once. Hair reduction treatments are spaced out a few weeks so that each session affects hairs that are actively growing. The majority of people can achieve their desired result in eight to twelve laser treatments. During the initial consultation, we do our best to estimate the number of treatments required. Every person is unique, and the needs will vary depending on factors such as the coarseness and colour of the hair, as well as complexion.

Laser Tattoo Removal
